Will Joe Webb stick?

At practice today watching Webb....he took off and ran quite often and threw a few okay passes. Wondeing if they will keep 3 QB's this year since Anderson is getting a little long in the tooth.Guess he will get some work in the up coming pre season.Be interesting to see what he has under game conditions. So do they keep the Webb project up for the future,,or just camp fodder

I doubt it. The guy on our practice squad showed out today at practice. His name escapes me.

Maybe both as a project and a camp fodder who can prepare us for when we have to go against guys like Wilson and Faegernick.

I honestly hope we don't keep 3 QBs. I like Webb but we need to keep as many WR and TE as we can.

pipe dreams..  no sense in keeping him as a QB.

Can he play any other position? If you look back at players like Karl Hankton, Rod Smart, Armanti Edwards, they kept a job because they could play multiple positions. A backup KR that's a 7th WR and a 3rd QB might not see the feild often but he's still useful.

Probably. He does a lot of things for the team. He lets Cam get a much needed break during the week, while the offense still gets to install a mobile QB-centric offense.

Webb only make the PS for his running. I could tell a huge difference in arm strength from the other QB's to Webb. His ball looked very slow.
