Tolbert on D Glen show today

Today's practice has been rescheduled for 1pm so I doubt Tolbert will be on David Glenn's show (not that I mind because DG sucks worse the Marc James anyways).

No slight to the annoying Glenn, but he doesn't have quite the annoyance factor.  Glenn by a nose in an epic battle of insufferable tools extraordinaire.

Glen was annoying as usual, and Tolbert his slightly arrogant self . Glen asked no questions that were worth a damn. If you didnt hear it you missed nothing worth repeating.

About what anyone should have expected...

On a lighter note, college kids everywhere could easily send themselves to the ER in a matter of minutes for a good ole fashion stomach pump by playing a drinking game every time Glenn laughs in an interview.

I don't even know who that is

Local Radio guy in Raleigh. His claim to fame is being Mr. ACC (Which is 100% true) and since its Raleigh more people care about College Basketball than pro sports. So he spends more time talking about State/Duke/UNC football than he does the Panthers.

Hell he spends more time talking about teams like BC and Cuse than he does the Panthers. And he does know more than anyone about the college teams in the ACC.

However when he does try to talk Panthers/Canes/Hornets he tends to struggle going with the more national view point than the in the know view the guys that cover the team have. He does get Jones and Gantt to call in from time to time but to be honest I tend not to listen to him as well....

I am one of the few that like the afternoon guys (Adam and Joe) and they at least are a little better informed about NC pro sports (however snarky their opinion might be. I was just glad when Taylor Z left town only to find out he was forced on you guys in Charlotte.

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
