I honestly don't see the donation thing working well but who knows. I don't know the ins and outs of how revenue generates on a website and not trying to be Capt. Dickhead, but if articles on the front page are getting a ton of views which generates $ for "The Huddle" why can't "The Huddle" cut them in a small % of what the article generates?

Just by looking at other sites who have used this model and are failing horribly and getting a horrible reputation, I am not interested in following their lead.

The huddle may get to a point one day to hire some salaried staff, but that is a while away.

Same, the fun of writing would be payment enough.

Yep, for me the experience gained, the fulfillment I get and the benefit provided in providing content and driving traffic to the site is all I look to gain. If it were to really take off then I may change my stance, but at this point it would just be something I enjoy doing.

I wrote for Panther Insider and got to do a couple interviews and that was really cool. Just getting to interact with players and agents was more than enough payment to justify the work.

I third this. It's just something I love to do. Writing about the Panthers takes it over the top. It does make me slightly apprehensive, though. I've never really let many people read my stuff.

You just blew my mind. Not even an hour ago I said to myself I wish the Huddle had an area where I could write and publish articles for the fans to read. I think this is a great idea.

Unfortunately you would have to pay me to read your posts.
