Cam and high throws.

Are you really starting a thread, regarding high throws, in the rain, with a QB recovering from injury, during training camp, weeks away from the start of the season?

SMH like a wet dog/Lawd Have Mercy!!

Yes because this is the first time in his career that he has thrown high balls. And I am being sarcastic just in case you missed it.

Cam = Bust?

Cam = Overrated?

Cam = Thug?

Cam = Actually a pretty good QB with good throwing skills  And he can scramble and run on occasion..  Has some ball control problems as many QBs do but has worked on this over the last couple years.  He is not perfect and is far from a finished product which I think he would readily admit. He is at least decent if not pretty darn good.  No matter how good you are or can be you will have bad days.  Today it was raining and there were a lot of bad plays.  I for one think this was a good thing.  Cam is probably not happy about this and does not want to repeat it.  He will learn and move on.

Lets Relax.

I've begun to think it's something of a common trait to 'gunslinger' types.  Delhomme was known for that too.  It's a mechanics thing.

You do what you can to coach stuff like that, but sometimes the smarter thing to do is adjust your roster.

Hence, Kelvin Benjamin and a receiving corps with only two guys under six feet (5'10 and 5'11)

LOL!

Height helps though.  Potentially a lot.

Newton has been, and probably always will be, a guy whose accuracy is more in the 'catchable pass' vein than 'pinpoint accurate'.  Like a lot of guys with his playing style, he's capable of delivering an absolutely perfect strike, and following up with a shot that makes you go 'what the hell' :unsure:

To tell the truth, that's a lot of quarterbacks.  There aren't that many 'surgical precision' guys out there.

Again, you adjust.

I usually watch the Sunday night games every week.  I have seen Brady, Rodgers, and Cutler just to name a few that were missing terribly.  Its just a few out there that don't have hardly any misses.  This throwing high thing is blown out of proportion.  Steve who is 5'9" had a 1,000 yard season with Cam throwing him the ball so people should give it a rest.

What's up with that? Why can't he seem to correct them?

OP do you support cam or not? Real question because threads like this don't need to be created in training camp on the worst weather of training camp when he's recovering from ankle surgery. It's just stupid, not you personally but the thread. I mean at least wait until Cam's high throw cost us a game or something. Geez..
