Some of the greatest QBs of all time had some serious mechanical/accuracy issues at times throughout their careers. + a surgically repaired on a rainy can make for a bad day with any QB so this really shouldn't be a big deal.

Exactly. And for those saying bum ankle blah blah did u not watch panther games last season? He always had balls sailing on him.

 

His ankle has hurt since the National Championship game in college, even he has said so himself. His throwing high is probably a result of that.

 

Also, it's possible for players to have a bad day.

It's not rain or surgery we've all seen him throw away some passes sometimes he's always done it

Give me a name of a strong armed QB that doesn't have a tendency to sail passes.

Cam doesn't need to fix it... Gettlemagic fixed it with simple ABCs of team management... Avant, Benji, Cotchery...

While Jake was never top tier, he did go downhill after they brought in a new QB coach who was supposed to "help his mechanics"..

Peyton Manning throws plenty of ugly ducks. In fact, a lot of his accuracy comes from the fact that he doesn't try to rip the ball.

Every qb that plays the game or has ever played the game..........has thrown the ball poorly at some points of their career.  No Qb goes through an entire season throwing perfect pass after perfect pass.  Most don't go through an actual game without having a bad pass.
