It's an anomaly, he needs to recover, pro football focus doesn't know what they're talking about, the corner bit on a play fake leaving him alone to cover blah blah blah

I'm with Sam Mills on this... I read almost all play by play and it seems like Godfrey gives a lot of big plays. Constantly getting beat deep. Can someone confirm?

 

 

I read Lola and others post comments from practices and my assumtion was that he blows.... SO i asked someone else to confirm.  I'm not sure why people keep accusing me of things I did not say or post.

Internet forums are full of people ready to make statements they'll stand by to the death based on one internet link they found in a Google search.  And loads of people couch their opinions in terms like "this is a fact and no one can dispute it".

 

I find the whole practice a tad silly myself, but in an era where guys like Jim Rome rule the sports discussion, I probably shouldn't be shocked.

I agree and that's why I said that's my opinion and I'd like someone who actually seen him play to confirm (I left a room to be proven wrong).  I only stand behind something if I seen it myself and I'm 100% sure.

I'm not a big Godfrey fan, honestly.

 

'Legendarily terrible' is probably major hyperbole, but my expectations for him have never been that high.  Knowing that he's facing both recovery from surgery and a position switch in one offseason makes him a long shot.

So we wait for Godfrey to heal and become.... Godfrey of two seasons ago? So i guess he will be cut then.... Chances are unlikley he survives and wins a spot. Achillies and CB(Esp Nickel) do not mix well.
