Is anybody following bucs camp closely enough to compare KB with Mike Evans? It would be really interesting to know if Evans is making these kinds of catches.

 

The official Bucs instagram was highlighting a drop of his as one of the top catches of the day at camp.

 

So there's that,

You know what, hearing all these reports from camp I was a bit hesitant. We've had a lot of WRs show up in camp and dissapear or dissapoint in the season. Kenny Moore, Amanti Edwards, Brandon LaFell...

Yeah Benji makes me have to think about who the OP is talking about for like a split second.  KB is instantaneous.  FWIW Charlotte is a city that loves to give it's athletes acronyms.  MKG, KB, GH, TD, KK,DWill,JStew..........let's stick to that.

In the actual video that the gif is from you see him get up with a slight limp... maybe this is the play he got hurt on?  Him and Godfrey do get a little tangled up after the catch.

 

Just couldn't help but think... but, assuming it is the play he got hurt on, if Cam throws that ball a little better KB wouldn't be missing any practice right now. :(

 

At the same time if Cam had thrown it better KB wouldn't have had the opportunity to make such a play on the ball and it would've just been a routine catch and we wouldn't be talking about it.  Man, our offense has been missing a guy that make those type of catches so much.  2011 Smitty was the closest we've had.

 

edit: after seeing Kelvin's presser that definitely had to be the play he got injured... fits the description to a tee.

Yeah, but that's what makes this play a thing of beauty. A good number of recievers out there aren't gonna make that catch.

This was the play he got hurt on. But yeah, Cam must deliver the ball in such a way that it leads the receiver that way they can easily get more YAC.
