Steve Smith or Randy Moss?

Smith. He is 3rd in receiving yards in only 12 games. At his pace, he would be leading had it not been for the suspension. With Brady, you probably have to say Moss.. but not this year. In fact, it should have been "Smith or Andre Johnson?" or "Smith or Boldin?"

Or Calvin Johnson. Despite all that crap in Detroit he has 1100 yards and 10 TDs

i take smith as of right now

overall i'd take moss, if he actually have someone to throw it to him, like a cullpepper of 01-03 or brady. you saw what happened to him in oakland w/o a qb to feed him the ball.

however, in the next two years, calvin johnson and andre johnson will take over this discussion. man what is we had either one of them on the other side of smitty? i'd poo my pants if i was a d coordinator

you have to remember steve is in a run first offense that helps him a lot.but boldin and fitzgerald are in a pass heavy offense and still make plays.

This is the craziest thing I've read in awhile, you should write for ESPN. They love this kinda poo.

The thing with Moss is that he can be shutdown. Not just by a great D gameplan but by himself. He will mentally take himself out of games at times.

I've never seen SS do that, not even when Ricky Rocket (David Carr), Methusala, or Wienke were his QB's.

Steve is a talent that is so underappreciatted. Maybe in a few years people will look back and think about just how dominating he was during this era.

More 100 yd games since '03 than any other WR. This is with QB's such as David Carr, Testaverde, and Wienke. Most of his carreer he has not had a viable second WR, for two of those years he didn't have a dominate run game, for one year he didn't even play because of injury. That is impressive enough in itself.

Take into account that he is only a generous 5'9" and its even more impressive.

I always wonder how much more effective Smith would be if he had an accurate QB - take yesterday for example, if Delhomme hits Smith in stride instead of making him come back for the ball on the deep pass over the middle he's gone.

That said I wonder how many QBs would just throw it up there for Smith to make a play like Delhomme does.

As for my choice. Talent wise it's no contest, Moss is terrifying, however, I'd choose Smith every day due to his mental make up.
