That is the part that sucks about injuries in camp... the vast majority of them have been reported as the player being, "carted off." Brandon Williams was "carted off" with cramps the other day. The problem is, the term "carted off" is only used in the regular season for the WORST of injuries. In TC, there are literally a bunch of carts around due to the environment, so less severe injuries may warrant a ride on the cart back to the training room or what have you... Boston may have walked to the cart and then rode back for all we know.

But, PLEASE, guys covering camp, STOP SAYING "CARTED OFF"! Each time you do it, the only thing huddlers envision is that player getting ran over by the cart on Madden '93.

 

Exactly and many many vets ride the carts when leaving practice even if they are not injured. Greg Olsen, DeAngelo, Nate and TD were all "carted off" today... Heat is probably a factor too (and maybe some semi-laziness?).

lolz.  I actually quit drinking (until tailgates).  I decided to get in shape and its a good progress but my beer belly wont go away.

I think Dan Morgan pretty conclusively proved that injuries are unpredictable.

 

On the flipside, guys like Frank Gore show that taking a guy with an injury history can sometimes pay off.
