Fan blindness.

 

Pretty sure there's an element of every fanbase that thinks 'we have it worse than every other team in the NFL'.

 

My own take is that it feels like injuries have gone up all over the league since the new practice rules were implemented with the last CBA.  I will say that's just a feeling though.  I haven't done the research to back it up.

 

I do that that at some point you'll see someone in the media - or maybe even the league itself - investigate that question.

 

 

I have heard several analysts / former players speculating that exact same thing and I think you are on to something. Like you, I haven't seen any research to back that up but it does seem like that is the case.

I'm with Scot.  The players take long vacations and most of them don't work out as often as they should so when they show up in camp and they forced to go almost 100% their joints give up.  Usually it associated with bad conditioning. Boston was injured for a long time and first report today was that Boston flying all over the field... dude was trying to impress coaches but his body was not there physically.

Ive been going to training camp 4 consecutive seasons now, yes I understand its early, but there is no denying this offense just looks sloppy and the muffed returns are bad. No excuse to muff during training camp. On a positive note, from what ive seen, D Will looks as explosive as evern

You don't have to know someone to see how annoying they could be on a message board. I ain't ass kissing. I'd like to see you have a break because you now expect gettleman to have visions of the future and know if a player would get injured or not. Camon man

I don't post in Panthers forum much, the forums I post in you don't post so I'm not sure how I can possibly annoy you.  I've been on this forum for 11 years, there are many ass kissers around. 

 

Please show me where I stated bolded comment above.  Please.  I'm not blaming gettleman for the draft.  I'm just saying he got unlucky with his picks.

I even clarified 2 posts down that I don't blame DG.  I love the guy.  I think everyone around here does.
