So many nods to past films and just a fun time at the movies.

Just got back. Was okay. Better than average. I actually preferred Avengers. This was supposed to be the funny movie, but I can tell you I laughed til I almost cried multiple times during Avengers.

Not saying it was bad at all. I enjoyed it. Rocket and Groot absolutely stole the show and this definitely makes me want to buy some Guardians anthologies. But it just didn't live up to the nonstop hype I've been hearing since May.

So took the girlfriend and her kids to see it, and a great time was had by all :D

 

One of the hallmarks of great action movies is memorable lines, and this one had plenty.

 

My personal favorite: "They got my dick message!" :lol:

 

Better than Avengers?  Probably wouldn't go that far, but definitely in the elite class of comic movies.

A user on Reddit revealed today that Marvel Studios held a screening of Guardians of the Galaxy for U.S. military in Afghanistan.

Additionally, those who attended the screening also received special Guardians of the Galaxychallenge coins.

 

 

 

These guys just keep rolling out the good press.
