Love hearing that Chandler is looking good so far.

 

Does anyone know if Tolbert dropped those pounds per the request of the team or if he chose to do it on his own?  I just wonder if there were plans to get him more carries even before Stewart go banged up and Gaffney went down?

For the smaller cat backs, vision is absolutely vital.  Some guys have it and some don't.  It's not one of those things that you usually see players improve on.  So far, it just doesn't look like Barner has it.

Honestly I think the Panthers know who they want at Left Tackle. It's Nate Chandler. He is quicker and more agile than Bell. Bell is more of a mauler. Chandler is plan A and Bell is plan B.

I think it's chandler's job to lose and they will confirm what they see in the preseason games. So as long as chandler is solid, he will be LT.

Good stuff Zod. Barner is who he is. He'll never be an everyday down back that pushes for the extra yard. I feel like if the O-line can give him just a small seem, he can have an impact. Plus I feel like he plays with a chip on his shoulder because of his size. I think he might surprise some folks this year.

Barner looks slightly more beefed up this year.  Hopefully he can get his return game together because that makes him more of a keepable asset.
