2014/15 Barclays Premier League Season

Yep and Sterling is playing like garbage. It literally looks like Liverpool lost fire and desire to win.

Yuuupppppppppp.  They didn't even looked like they cared against Aston Villa in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.  Unbelievable.  New blood is needed

No way Rodgers is keeping his job, right?  Please no.  If we could have stolen a late goal today top 4 was still open.  But, no.  We were content with the tie.  Just unbelievable, Rodgers can not motivate a team.  Surely he is as good as gone, right?

This is such a perfect example of another way we miss Suarez.  I still say this was one of the season-changing moments last year.  Late in the game at the Craven Cottage Cou ties it up 2-2.  The team starts celebrating as they know they've saved a point.  Every one celebrates except for Suarez.  Suarez grabbed the ball from the back of the net and told the guys to stop celebrating because we had another goal to score.  Sure enough we won a PK in injury time and ended up getting a vital 3 points on the road.

April 4: Led by Mesut Özil, Arsenal dealt Liverpool's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League a devastating blow with a 4-1 victory

The Guardian:

"Then came Özil takeover time. ... A move of classic refinement gave Arsenal the lead. It started as Özil gathered the ball in the centre circle. He paused. Looked. Calculated. Then he lofted an arcing pass over to Aaron Ramsey on the right, who noticed right-back Bellerín galloping upfield. The young Spaniard planted the ball with his left foot into the far corner of the goal [to put Arsenal up 1-0]

Then [3 minutes later] Özil was clipped by Mamadou Sakho, and it was revealing in terms of his much analysed body language that he got up, no nonsense, and grabbed the ball with intent as if to make sure the free-kick was his and nobody else’s. Özil took aim about four yards outside the Liverpool penalty area. His set-piece was struck beautifully, and curled inside the left upright, beyond the reach of the diving Mignolet. A fantastic free-kick [to put Arsenal up 2-0]

Wenger said of Özil: “What he does is always classy, intelligent, and the timing of his passes is absolutely fantastic. He is agile, flexible and always available in between the lines. When you play with him in the team you would love to play with him."
