surprised the thread was so dead today...... three points the boys sure want to make a run at top 4 studge returns this week ynwa

 

fuging spurs and united won too though, as well as southampton.  we're gonna do this though 

 

We are second in the table in regards to recent form and just 5 points off 4th. We are starting to play really well right now.

 

Pretty remarkable considering we haven't even had our best player in months.

yeah I gave Rodgers more poo than anyone earlier in the year but I'm glad he's making me eat my crow. He's found a formation and style of play that is working. I still think it's gonna be really tough for us to make top 4 but not impossible. Dream is us sliding in and keeping united out. I think arsenal will for sure make it now that they're getting everyone back. So that means Liverpool, Southampton, United, Spurs, maybe West Ham fighting for the last spot

Even as good as Southy's defense is, they'll come back down to earth. Same with West Ham methinks. We have United, Spurs, West Ham, and City all at home in the back half.

 

Southampton have played their absolute best football and are a mere 7 points atop us. United are what they are. I don't expect them to get better or worse. We haven't see anything close to what Liverpool are capable of yet. It's going to be a wild race for the 3rd and 4th spot though.
