2014/15 Barclays Premier League Season

Can't be worse than Balotelli...  Balotelli misses so many chances every game for you guys.  I honestly think he's worse than Giroud. lol

He plays a full 90 every league match and misses every chance...He comes in as a sub in the league cup and scores on his first touch. Wtf.

Fabio Borini looked pretty solid against Swansea last night. Working his ass off and attacked well. Wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers gives him the start on the weekend.

I just want to see us return to a formation with two forwards up top with Sterling or Coutinho just behind them..  It doesn't even matter what two you put up there... Balo/Lambert, Balo/Borini, Borini/Lambert, etc don't really care.  But last year we were great with two up top when Henderson was playing further up linking with the forwards.  Idk.... something like that I want to see

Lucas also actually played well against Swansea

I could see us run Borini and Balo up top. Then run a diamond mid with Sterling CAM, Coutinho LW, Hendo RW, and Gerrard as the deepest lying mid. Moreno, Lovren, Skrtel, and Manquillo on the back line.

Frankly, our CBs looked far more comfortable with a true DM in front of them (Lucas) but there is no way Rodgers continues to bench Gerrard. I have an unpopular opinion on Gerrard's play this season, so I'll keep it to myself.

In any event, I think it's likely that we see a personnel package that we haven't yet seen in the league. Newcastle won't be an easy out, especially after they are coming off a nice win over Man City.
