2014/15 Barclays Premier League Season

Right. I think it means he wants to manage Italy...not Arsenal. If the Italy gig doesn't work out, then yea maybe.

Antonio Conte was brough up by the board as Wenger replacement before.  Conte quit Juve cause he was underpaid...  Making only 3.5m euros.  As Italy coach he's making 4.5m euros for less work.  Arsenal can double that if they want too.  Conte won Champions League and he knows he will get a good offer soon.  In Juve, he'll continue to be underpaid.

Agreed. But none of this gives the slightest indication he'll be going to Arsenal. I'm sure Arsenal supporters want him, and maybe he will be the manager. They also want Klopp, and I think he's just as likely.

Arsenal will drop big $$$ on new manager.  If you look around European soccer, only handful of teams pay big $$$ to managers, Arsenal is one of those teams.  Wenger is like 4th highest paid manager in the world.  Most people follow the money so if you thrown $$$ at Klopp or Conte, they will come.  Arsenal will likely to sign big name manager and not from EPL.

Current salaries:

Wenger - 7m pounds

Klopp - 3.5m pounds

Conte - 2.5m pounds

Arsenal straight is midfield and passing game so Arsenal will likely go for a manager that fits the system.

I understand the logic behind it. The same case could be made for any manager who is paid less than Wenger though. Right now, it's pure speculation. But Conte quit Juve to manage Italy.

I'm like one more concussion from wearing a helmet every day. Both please.

Spending on players is governed by Financial Fair Play (FFP). Clubs are not allowed to spend a certain percentage above their earnings. So, the only limit to what a club can spend is dependent upon how well they are doing financially.

To my knowledge, you can spend whatever you like on the manager. It does impact FFP though.

Conte left Juve for more money.  Whatever he said he wants to coach Italy might be partially true.  Do you think he would left Juve for less money?  I highly doubt.

Wenger said Arsenal is switching 4-4-2 when Giroud is back...

         Giroud-Welbeck

Alexis-Ramsey-Ozil-Walcott

Looks good on paper... much more attacking than

            Welbeck

   Alexis-Cazorla-Ozil

       Arteta-Ramsey

Juve matched Italy's offer and he turned it down. He wanted to manage Italy.

Again, not sure how an Italian manager leaving an Italian club to manage the Italian national team and has only ever managed or played in Italy has anything to do with Arsenal, but maybe. The case about being able to offer him more money could literally be said about any manager in the world except for like 4. Pure speculation by fans.
