This!  usually takes a full year in the NFL system for a Defensive End to be ready.

So can someone edumacate a non-college watching football fan as to Bene's career so far? Was he the stud of his group and how competitive was his secondary and defense?

 

He played for San Jose State.  I doubt any of us have actually seen a full game of his.

i like to check the huddle before church sometimes... needless to say ive had to turn off alot of signatures and even block some profiles from showing up on my end due to the profile pics. haha. i´ll never leave the huddle because this place has become my primary source for Panther´s news, but the thought of having to explain those swinging tits to my pastor and church mentors scared the crap out of me. haha

On the contrary! I saw him play against Stanford last year! I'd be lying if I said I remembered much from the game. But I do remember Gaffney carrying a guy like 10 yards into the end zone for a score, and it may have been benwikere. Not 100% though.

No, there is no fact, you are speculating, as am I. Your gut feeling in July means pretty much nothing.

All I'm saying is, don't write him off yet, it would be foolish to do so, there is plenty of time.

especially considering he was a second round pick, and they usually start. I guess I was expecting more out of him based on what everyone said.

2nd round picks don't always start on talented teams.

Man I remember when Star looked bad at the start of camp last year, and we all know what a bust that guy is.
