You mean relying on a rookie wr isn't the way to go?

 

But are we relying on a rookie receiver at all? Our interior line has gotten much much improved with the Turner addition and Amini healthy, so our run game should be much better this year, with Tolbert and DeAngelo still trucking. If Stewart is actually healthy then that will help a lot too. And from what we've heard, both Brandon Williams and Ed Dickson are impressing so we'll have a lot of two TE sets that will also help with blocking since the OT position being questionable (as shown by Ed helping pick up a Hardy pass rush and Cam being able to hit the receiver today). Then we've got vets in Cotchery and Avant who have impressed and will be able to move the chains well. It seems like we aren't relying on KB at all and actually we are building around our defense and having our offense be based on efficiency again with the run game and 2 TE sets to move the chains. KB is just a huge addition to all that.

You ask why are we're relying on a rookie WR and then mention Turner our 3rd rounder we're relying at G. Just sayin.

I didn't ask why we're relying on a rookie WR, I said that we aren't relying on him. Nor are we relying on only Turner. My post was to show all the pieces that we do have in place to be successful. Kalil and Amini take a lot of the pressure off of Turner, and honestly, as much as people hate him, Bell is a good run-blocker and Nate should be good too. It's not like we have a bottom 10 center and a bottom 10 LG and we are relying on Turner to make our run game great. Even without Turner, having Amini back and Scott we could still have a great line for the run game and we still have the TE's and RB's. Point is, we aren't really relying on any 1 player, except maybe Cam, but all QB's are relied on.

I skipped to the last page of this thread because I wasn't about to read 5 pages of overworrying and dramatics. It's ugly to watch too.
