Now that I think about it, I cant recall many dramas where fans liked the wife of the protagonist.

I hated her whisper talk. wasn't so shocking, I saw it coming once I knew she was gonna die.

 

 

I'm up to s5e8 and so far Season 2 has been the best.

i thought the "main killer" of season 3 was one of the worst, the skinner who worked for the tree service...i honestly forgot about him at times during that season because his story wasn't good...

i think they shoulda put Dexter as working for the FBI so he coulda traveled around the country instead of them making Florida look like serial killers-r-us...

Hannibal is still the better serial killer show which is amazing for being on regular TV.

Season 1 and 2 were by far the best for me. 

 

I thought Season 4 was overrated, it was good but not great.  Lithgow's performance was great so that made people believe the season as a whole was to.  I honestly had a feeling something was going to happen to Rita while watching it.  To be honest though I saw a lot of the twists on the show coming.  The only one that got me (and it should not have) was Lithgow's daughter answering the door with a "hi dad."

 

Season 3 was underrated.  I actually really liked the Skinner, he was a scary dude and I think that could have been a lot better, but they spent too much time on Miguel because that was the main actor.

 

Season 7 to me is definitely the best of the final four.  I liked Isaak and it was nice to finally have LaGuerta (or anybody) on Dexter's trail.  It made me hopeful of an amazing final season with Dex on the run, even though I knew Showtime would never allow it.

 

Season 5 comes next.  I hate Lumen and really did not like the season but it was as bad as the others.  The end was an awful cop out.

 

Season 8 sucked, they wasted too much time on worthless story lines and the main story was no better.  The finale was terrible

 

Season 6 was awful.  The only good thing was Deb finding out but she should have found out in Season 5.  They then wasted a whole season where the only thing they accomplished was what should have happened a year earlier.

By the way, Showtime ruined that show.  First they went it go on for too long so the show was just there with no real destination in sight.  Then when they were set up to end it Showtime would not let them make Dexter a villain.  I read and interview somewhere shortly after the finale, I think it was with the original showrunner, but his idea for the finale was to have Dexter on the table ready for execution.  He saw visions of all of his victims in the room with him.  He the said "tonight's the night" and that was that.  Could have been amazing...but Showtime did not want that.

She annoyed me but not like others.  There were much worse characters.  I think the worst thing about her was that she was back in Season 8...had she left after Season 7 I would have liked her more.
