haven't played an RPG as good as Mass Effect in a long time... save Fallout 3. Can't wait for #2

I'd put it up there with FO3 and Oblivion. My 3 favs on next gen systems. Can't wait for ME2. I'm a little confused on what carries over now, but at one point we were going to keep our squad and level. I started playing through it a second time to avoid killing Wrex, but never finished.

my main character is on his fourth i think playthrough, level sixty, soldier, and basically can't be killed.

also my rifle never overheats i'm pretty broken.

yeah i've got the spectre assault rifle with frictionless materials. can just hold down fire through the whole map without overheating pretty much.

i read recently that level will not carry over, because they didn't want to make a game only for ME vets that newbs can't play. my guess would be amnesia when shepard's 'killed.'

that would make more sense because at my current level if I had liara with me the game would take about 20 minutes

seriously after you max out liara you'll never even be attacked. whatever runs up to you will immediately just be singularity'd and you can melee kill whatever you want.

indeed. i think i'm around level 57 at this point, and plan to play through another time or two to max out.

my usual squad is liara for biotics and tali for tech. don't need anyone else with combat.

yeah i hope they reveal more about the quarians and what they look like. the second book touched on it a little, but not in great detail.

they created the geth, probably in their image or similar, so i don't imagine they're going to be anything to take home to mom.
