I know Hardy is younger but right now CJ is the better player and he doesn't have an arrest record. He also has been reliable his whole career. I do think no matter what happens he will be approached for a pay cut or restructure.

 

Completely agree. The problem is who do you pick for the future. Hardy is going uphill while CJ is going downhill. Last year was the year where they were about equal. You will see alot of separation in production in the next 3-5 years.

I think Hardy staying comes down to number and not off the field incidents. If anything he is driving his price down for us. TBH great DEs dont happen very often and is why you see the 3-4 so much. Allowing hardy to walk will bite us unless Early really is something special.
