Not sure why people are hating on Gman for the pick. Unless Kug had injury concerns in college there is little reason to blame our gm when something like this happens.

The point and case here was it was an extreme reach. This wasn't a guy who had a rough combine or character issues but still high level, high school guy.

 

Kug was from a extreme no name school, no name area and we were the only ones who had him on radar. Far more proven o-linemen could have been taken, yet we reached for a D3 guy.
