I think making the playoffs back to back years is a solid goal....I love this team and believe in them but I agree we are a year or two and one or two pieces away from being legit threats at a Super Bowl.....but don't worry we WILL get there, sooner than many think

Get to the playoffs and all bets are off. Our defense can show up in any stadium and has the potential to shut down anyone if we're getting to the QB. Super Bowl? A long-shot, sure. But just get into the playoffs right now, which is far from guaranteed IMO.

I just don't see it. Weather it be LT, Wr, secondary, return gm, we're relying on too many unknowns to go right for us. I see us having a good yr 10-6 but not a super bowl run. Some might call me crazy, but I truly feel the loss of Captain Munnerlyn will hurt more than most people inticipate.

Yes! No doubt we are a contender. I'm not saying we WILL win, but we are absolutely a contender. We had a possibility of winning it last year. We matched up pretty well with San Fran & Seattle. Plus, I believe we could have beat Denver if given the chance. This year we lost some guys and OL is a big 'question mark'. However, we upgraded at our major concerns offensively last year IMO. (red zone threats & dropped passes) So i believe we are.

Oh we are Superbowl contenders.

 

Nobody would have thought coming into the 03/04 season we were even playoff caliber, but we made a run. This team is as capable as any to be in the Superbowl. We need fortune to be on our side for it to happen, but I drank the cool aid and this year is the year. 

 

Screw the offensive line haters. We have the best mobile QB in the league who can handle his business in the pocket and make the throws under pressure. Boys, its not like we have Matty Ryan or Eli Manning as our QB. We are going to be better than last year.

From everything to ESPN to Bleacher Report believes the Carolina Panthers and Riverboat Ron have no chance to even make the playoffs this year, let alone win the Super Bowl.

I know... I know we have no LT, our WRs smell funny, and everyone calls our secondary the legion of whom?. Seriously though. Is the fan base the only people in the world that believes in this team? We had some controversial moves this offseason by letting Steve Smith go, but it had to be done for future considerations. We dealt with or should I say still dealing with the Hardy fiasco. Hopefully this will not be a cancer in the locker room this year.

We all saw a huge leap by Cam Newton and Rob Rivera last year and I think we are going to see a upward trend from this team this season. Who cares if ESPN can't name one of our WRs right now, but on opening day they will know who we are. I am tired of every article putting the panthers last in a division they dominated a season ago. Can't wait for this team to come out hungry and show the world what the Panthers are all about! Is it football season yet?!? KEEP POUNDING!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Contending for the Super Bowl is all about playing your best football come playoff time.  We are good enough to earn at least a wild card spot.  Therefore we should be as qualified as any team to be a Super Bowl contender.

I think there are some teams better built to win it all more than us but I believe we have a team to make it to the playoffs and after that it's anyone's ball game
