Fan Fest and Cheese Mo'z

This was the agenda that the future Mrs and I had today.

Despite her Bucs fanhood, she enjoyed the Fan Fest, though she wimped out on wearing her Bucs jersey (due to the heat).

As to Cheese Mo'z, the food was as delicious as I've tasted in forever. Morgan himself was not there. The manager explained that he had an emergency but had provided autographed pictures to give to patrons who came in fresh from Fan Fest (nice gesture on his part).

Anyone else do this combo today?

There was a good crowd, and a fair number of Panther jerseys. Our waitress was friendly and the food was fantastic.

Funny thing: A foul up between the waitress and the cook delayed our appetizer, so the manager came by and said he'd pay for it and take it off our bill.

We hadn't complained, hadn't asked about it, hadn't even mentioned it to anyone. They did it all on their own initiative.

Gotta give Morgan credit. He's got a good place going there.

Did Fan Fest today, but instead of cheeze-mo's, I just grilled hot dogs with baked beans and cole slaw. Nice day for grilling.

I can't wait to go and support a business owned by a former Panther (who also seems to be one hell of a nice guy).

Doesn't hurt that the food looks delicious, and there's a decent beer selection.

Finishing up the other half of the Superstar pizza I started earlier today. The servings were so big that Milady and I could only eat about half of our respective orders (she had the five cheese calzone).

Even as a microwaved leftover it tastes delicious.

I'd like to know myself. If only there was a thread that was stickied at the top of this forum regarding the subject of Dan Morgan's restaurant. That would be helpful. Then everyone could see it and read about the restaurant, with a menu, map, and directions.

Maybe we can get a mod to post something like that here.
