Cocaine and alcohol can create some wild hallucinations to the brain (which is what the girl was on).

There are certainly plenty that I've known that can get pretty paranoid but not to the hallucination stage. I suppose it's possible but I would think that it would be a relative minority versus the typical reactions to stimulants.

She wasn't hallucinating....she is obviously a woman that dates high profile characters with cash to burn. She buys her way through life with her looks and wants the most she can possibly get...period. Appears to be someone who is use to getting her way and when she doesn't....throws tantrums.Hardy F,,d up by even giving her a second look.Hope he learned to leave woman like this tending tables and out of his life.Add in a coke habit and this is what you get.Any body (male or female) who would write that article and represent that woman as a "victim" and a innocent abused person...must be hallucinating herself.

The female in the case has way too much baggage to take serious. First she loves coke, second, she was running out the house because she had drugs on her. Lastly, she was caught with weed outside her car. But Hardy beats her according to her and a female she met that same night which is now a "friend." The man might be guilty, but the female is arguably one of the dumbest bitches I've ever seen.

Can we please disagree and provide context around the facts of the case without being sexist knuckle dragging neanderthals?

 

Personally, I find it unfortunate that Ashley Fox is using this case as an example of the domestic violence problems in this country (of which there are many) because once you dig into the facts of the case, it undermines a lot of her argument.

 

While victims need not be saints to be taken seriously or be afforded justice, there are enough red flags in the case to question the credibility of the accuser. Domestic violence should never be accepted but neither should potentially unfounded accusations be allowed to destroy the reputation of individuals.

First off, pretty bad article.  The fact that Ray Rice is on tape literally beating a woman and hasn't had a penalty whereas Hardy is still in his trial stages makes her whole point about that very odd imo.  She wants to immediately get Hardy suspended?  Things need to just play out no matter what really happened and she probably just needed to reach her quota for weekly publications.
