LMAO...

Lance shut Rick down after he asked the stupid question about him "betting on himself" with a shorter deal. "Say it again? No. I came here cause it's where I wanted to be." *you dumb motherf*cker death stare*

2 things I noticed...

Lance seemed a lot more shy than I expected. He seemed very timid & nervous speaking. On a related note, Cho has gotten much better with his public speaking. He was worse than MKG when he got here.

Lance is the cockiest & most confident SOB in the league. He answered about every question with "I'm a great player."

What did Bonnell ask? I wasn't able to watch.

Hard to tell with all the stuttering, but essentially why did Lance take a 3 year contract over a 5 year contract.

Lance just said he thought the Hornets was a good fit for him

oh my gosh, can we get some reporters to ask question to get him to open up a bit?

I waited an hour for that!?

It would have been a ton better if they had twitter questions from the fans or something- that was terrible

I don't think it was that bad outside of Bonnell's question which was answered in initial reports by his agent (wanted a shorter deal so he could get a max deal after the new TV contract is signed if he performs up to his potential as opposed to being locked in under his market rate for 5 years in Indiana) and was a more appropriate question for his agent. The other reporters asked questions directly pertaining to his on-court demeanor and he said he's extremely competitive on the court but off the court he's a different person.

He doesn't lack self-confidence, that's for sure. Could be that guy with the "edge" that this team has been missing.

I still don't believe this all materialized in 48 hours

There were so many rumors even before free agency started that there had to be much more to it.

My take: We set out with Gordon Hayward as option A and Kemba convinced us to make Lance option B. When Hayward didn't materialize, we simply sat back and let the market run its course to get Lance at a discount. The way the Roberts deal was structured was a dead giveaway that we were setting up for Option B.

@JohnGunstBarnet: @hornets who's gonna break more ankles this year between you and Kemba?

@hornets: .@JohnGunstBarnet That's going to be tough! @KembaWalker has the handles and I have the handles. We'll battle to see who gets the most

Think the Hornets need to pull Bonnell's media pass. Otherwise Lance may knock his ass out before the season begins. Not saying it would be a bad thing, just that people outside Charlotte would look at it negatively.
