How Hornets matchup against Top Teams in East

All I know is that we repetitively beat Clevelands ass last year with Kemba running the show against Kyrie.

But wins and losses don't count right

i admit i haven't looked at H2H record from last season.   however, i do know that charlotte didn't do so well against any team with that lebron fella playing for them.  that don't matter though.  kemba rocks!!

MKG is better than Pierce & Dunleavy...

Right now.

Dunleavy last season:

PPG:  11.3

FG%: .430

3P%: .380

FT%: .854

RPG: 4.2

APG: 2.3

BPG: 0.6

STLPG: 0.8

MKG last season:

PPG: 7.2

FG%: .473

3P%: .111

FT%:  .614

RPG:  5.2

APG:  0.8

BPG:  0.6

STLPG:  0.7

Dunleavy was equal or better in 6 of 8 categories. Similar stats overall, but I'm still taking Dunleavy if I need a start for a big game.

alright, my friend. i'm tipsy off wild turkey and i still can't tell if you are arguing as a homer or as a dumbass. you have done well. i will never clown on a fellow friend.

you and i are one in the same.

You added nothing to the argument except your opinion (based on nothing) and personal attacks.

I've presented my position and based it on facts and you've used unrelated things like contract numbers to support your agenda.

Bottom line is you got caught up in the media hoopla and began to realize that Kemba is indeed on Kyrie's level.

anyway, this was about teams in the east and how the hornets stack up.

i'd put us up against anybody in the east not named cleveland or chicago and even both those teams have question marks.   washinton will be good as well, but charlotte is right there with them.  hornets are top 4 in east.

Dunleavy shot 43%.... which is pretty a average while MKG shot a respectable 47%....

Dunleavy is also a terrible defensive player while MKG is an elite defender

you call it media hoopla...i call it the guys team giving him max money.  there is a difference.  the difference being you aren't on the right side of whatever facts you think you present.  the media didn't give him 5/90.  a real nba club did.  sorry that doesn't make you happy.  you think that don't matter.  i'm here to day it does.  you can't refute that.  what's your next post gonna be?   i hate my own team? ewhhhhh!!!!  got me

MKG shot less than six shots per game (Dunleavy had 11 attempts per game). His field goal percentage is inflated because of that.

Not to mention Dunleavy actually got the better of MKG all three times that they matched up against each other this year.

I think it's hard to evaluate MKG in a one-on-one matchup because though he rarely gets the best of his opponent offensively, he is the glue guy that holds are team together. Because of that, he is valued extremely high by Hornets fans.

mkg over dulneavy all day, every day.  dunleavy MIGHT (huge might) be better today.  however, mkg could be a leonard lite in the VERY NEAR future.

That's contract argument is not sound and you need to drop it because it holds no water.

By that argument Channing Frye is just as good as Dirk Nowitzki and Nene is just as good as Big Al. A real NBA team is also discussing the idea of giving Ricky Rubio a max as well.

So I ask... Is Frye better than Dirk? Is Nene better than Big Al? Is Rubio better than Kemba?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, seek immediate help.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, a "real nba club".

Hell, the Washington Redskins, a real NFL club, gave that Haynesworth fella a $100 million contract.  That dude must've been the truth.

That Andrew Bynum guy seems to keep getting paid by all these different teams.  He must be a helluva player.

Meanwhile, LeBron has never been the highest paid player on his team any year of his career until now.  He must've sucked or something.

But yeah, Cleveland is definitely the one sports city I look to in admiration as having well run franchises.
