That's what we said about the Hornets. We lead the NBA in attendance for years with one of the largest arenas in the league. There was no way the NBA would ever let them move our team.Duh..

NBA didn't want them to move which is why they put a franchise right back here within a year.

They did, many would say almost too eagerly, avoiding the political posturing/wrangling in these things that usually results in a better deal for the city taxpayers. Many are also fine with what was just done. But again, considering the (far worse than ours) political economics/stadiums/team values of probably a dozen or so teams, as well as the options to move(few, all with issues of their own in what would be a cumbersome at best effort), it's time (a LONG time) to enjoy football and stay OUT of the taxpayers pockets on this.
