Can someone confirm this not being able to watch preseason games thing?

 

Do the Panthers even have the rights to preseason games? Seems to me that is up to the NFL, I'd be surprised it that actually happened.

Even if TWC have the exclusive rights to the pre season games (which they don't ) NFL network plays every preseason game from every team.

This is gooing to be very similar to the deal the LA Lakers have with Time Warner here in Los Angeles/Orange County.

It's going to be great for you guys in the Carolinas. More Panther coverage is always a good thing.

What happens with the FREE local programs they had like The Panther Huddle on FOX and the late Sunday night program on WCNC? Especially if these programs are gone, this deal with twc sucks for the majority of the Carolina residents that do not have nor want twc. That includes me and everyone I know.

so if not in charlotte metro area and/or on TWC can't view pre-season games?  how is that a good thing?  have to believe that anybody in the panthers region is gonna get the pre-season games.  why would they willingly handicap their own audience like that?
