If You Are Cho: Does Hendo Stay?

Henderson looked pitiful on offense against the heat in the first round of playoffs. When it really counted. Give me someone who can score all the time and play some defense when need be in the playoffs. Heard somewhere there was mention of trading Henderson for dunleavy. Please do

If you think he's a good offensive player go back and watch him against heat in playoffs. They locked down on defense and he looked scared to shoot or do anything else for that matter. I agree he's depth dam expensive depth but he's depth

Our whole offense sucked that series, it's not fair to single one guy but I know that's how some of you do it around here so whatever. Gary Neal was putrid and between him, Ridnour and CDR, they are the main reason we lost at least one of those games. However, I don't see their heads being called for.

Oh wait, it's because they didn't start. Henderson gets called out because he's a starter, only next year, he won't be! He'll be one of the better bench players in the league. Drop the Henderson poo, he's staying, stop whining and be glad that we have a deep and promising team for the first time in awhile.

I really wish this board could stop being so negative. We got Lance Stephenson! Be happy!

I think Hendo is a good player, not great, but he is good. However if it helps the team to trade him, then what are some ideas for a trade? Here are two ideas, would like to hear more.

Memphis for T. Prince

Prince could backup MKG for a season, and would be an expiring unlike Henderson.

Pacers for L. Scola

Scola is on an expiring, and can still play. He averaged 16 ppg and 10 rpg in his per 36 minute averages. Indy is unsettled in their backcourt.

I can't imagine the market is very hot for a player like him. He's not terrible and we would be fine bringing him off the bench, but he's a generic average to below average NBA player and he's getting paid an awful lot of money considering that. If I'm Cho, I've already shown I don't mind paying mediocre players way too much money (Marvin) so I keep him. If I can pull off a trade to get a guy who can contribute and is also an expiring, of course I do it but I don't think there will be any takers. I wouldn't trade him for an expiring that can't play- better to have an overpaid backup than a terrible one.

I think there are teams where Hendo just fits better. He has some game, it just doesn't fit with the rest of our team. For instance I think he fits well in Chicago. Coach Thibs would like his defense. He doesn't have to control the ball, and can play off of others. Rose and Gasol are very good at distributing the ball. McDermott and Mirotic will space the floor. Hendo would have lanes to use his slashing ability for Rose and Gasol to find him. Hendo for Dunleavy

Luis Scola would've been great but I doubt Indy wants Henderson now, or could even afford his salary unless Charlotte eats most of it. They've signed CJ Miles & Rodney Stuckey to play SG.

Scola is expiring & even though he's getting older he can still score & rebound pretty well. He would've been a great stop gap this year.

Start Marvin/Jefferson, then play Scola at the 4 strictly with Zeller/Biyombo at the 5 so you still have an inside scoring threat. Then Zeller can play the 4 alongside Jefferson or the 5 alongside Marvin/Scola/Vonleh. Having him would also limit Marvin's minutes at the 4, allowing him to backup MKG.
