Jordan should get a lot of credit for the turnaround

This is gotta be one of the quickest and mist dramatic turnarounds in basketball history...

2 years ago we were 28-120 & the laughing stock of pro sports with a terrible identity.

Now we have one of the most popular & famous identities & a team that can fight for a championship (or at least Finals birth).

nope.. Boston was the worst team in the league the year before they won it all with Pierce, Garrnett and Ray Allen

A lot of critics of pro sports, don't think players and owners can learn from their mistakes. Jordan made plenty of mistakes while he was with the Wizards (Brown being #1) and early on with the Hornets (Morrison comes to mind), but he is slowly improving himself by understanding his limitations and what other people bring to the table. I think, in the beginning with Bob Johnson, MJ hired a lot of "yes sir" guys and Cho was the first guy he hired who had this solid background of making smart moves... Jordan could convenience himself to a sit back and learn.

I love all of the changes we're making now, because the team agrees on what sort of club they want to build and are building it. I also think a lot of it has to do with the Hornets brand. This brand change is not only an opportunity for the city to embrace NBA basketball again with a fresh start, it's also a fresh start for MJ to say the bad-MJ was the Bobcats MJ. The Hornets MJ gets it.

Still would have been a failed pick since his injuries limited hours true potential

Agreed. Maybe he doesnt hurt his ankle here though. The knees still would have gone out

Mike, if you can bring multiple NBA championships to Charlotte you can hate white people all you want.

I just love that even after retiring he still wants to win at no matter what he does.

he is one of the most competetive peopel that you will ever meet....so is his brother.

I think Kemba deserves an assist with the turnaround. Without him we wouldn't have got AL and I think Kemba also played a role in Lance both being from NH and playing together some.

Kemba and Lance both come from New Hampshire?  What are the freaking odds?
