Well, we didnt get Heyward but Lance is the next best thing. And for a good price at that. 

 

We seriously need to deal / get rid of Hendo. Lance start and have Hairston off the bench for instant offense. 

 

 

Lance has a very good all around game for a SG. Good handle, uses his body well, finishes with both hands, decent 3, etc. 

 

This year is gonna be much better than last yr imo.

 

Kemba / Roberts

Lance / Hairston

MKG / Taylor

Williams / Zeller / Vonleh

Al / Biz

People really will believe whatever makes them feel better, won't they?

Why would Cho waste money on one new player just to underpay another? We could also say that if he'd signed Williams to $5M a year, Cho might've offered Stephenson $10M because he could.

Well before mw signing I'm fairly sure cho reached out to lances agent. during talks the agent could have expressed lance wants/needs to order to sign. Agent could have pointed to the weakness that was 4. So in turn workout a deal, a package deal if cho lands a strech 4 that can set good screens, lances approves. No idea, im dropping a ramdon idea with no proof. Cho worked out a plan, that may worked due to each move. Most times that how it works not just dumb luck.

Ta what's your take on enes kater. Him as a player and talent/skills etc.

Not only that... the versatility he gives us is ridiculous. Perhaps the greatest value signing in the league... he could actually run point and allow Kemba to play off the ball or get a breather for different looks.

      The issue is the formula is secret, and it incorporates runs... So... Yup, it does. Same with PFF (which isn't quite as secret). But when it doesn't - like on Sunday - it's often to hilarious results. PFF is more reliable I think at matching my 'eye' test.

      According to the talking heads of the sports world, this is a pretty meh QB class.  Sanders and Ward are the only two with first round buzz, but the rest are blah.  Take that for what you will. Let's see how Bryce does in year three.  That's just where we are.  Patience is the key here.  Players need time to develop.  They can't develop if they don't play.  Bryce has made some really good throws, but he doesn't look like CJ Stroud.  That's going to be his point of comparison the rest of their careers.  The ball doesn't explode off Bryce's hand, it's not a cannon ball shot out of a cannon.  He's not going to break a 70 yard run.   Bryce is going to have to continue to make good throws and make plays.  Part of that is going to depend on the play calls.  Part of it is based on the skill players.  A couple drops picked up yesterday and it's a win and Bryce throws 1-2 more TDs.  A completely different story. It's been a crazy year indeed.  I just want to see Bryce continue to develop.  To see XL become more consistent.  To see JT fully recover (not play this season if he's not healthy).  I want to see Coker continue to make plays.  I'd love to see Brooks get more touches and Chubba continue to hammer defenses. Then this approaching offseason, let's go back to the D and work on fixing it.
