Hardy found guilty

You didn't have to see this coming. He should've walked period. We needed that money to help our weaknesses.

Panther way is to over invest at spots and dig in the garbage bins at weaknesses.

He was always a wildcard. Now he has this attached to all his oddball behavior. So presently, I don't think there is a lot to think about.

Like I said I dont think this whole situation is over with, i choose not put myself in the "i know whats gonna happen before it actually does" group for a reason. Opinions are opinions.

I have no idea whether he's guilty or not, but I'd agree the reaction from many here is sheer stupidity.  Especially the automatic 'gold digger' theory.

You don't know somebody just because you're a fan of the team they play for.  Heck, Graham Gano could be a serial killer for all we know.

Whatever happened, truth is that Hardy's repeatedly demonstrated bad judgment.  This is just the worst, and saddest, example.

I just find it hard to believe her when this happens when he gets 11 million + pay day. People with domestic violence usually have a long history.

Today wasn't an opinion.

NFL has suspended several players recently on charges of DV......without having any guilty verdict.

Just using facts and proven acts to make an educated guess. Don't see how Hardy avoids suspension. The fact JR is our owner makes those odds even less.

Big picture. A big contract for him just isn't the Panther way....nor should it be IMO. Can't invent in someone that unpredictable

2-4 games

I expect the Big Cat to react soon. Big Cat won't sit back like most teams to see what Goodell will do....IMO he sets his own tone (like with 89 for example).

Money talks  ...IMO he does nothing....i'm more worried about Goodell suspension. If Ray Rice can get away with video proof then Hardy should get  the same.

First big mistake for DG. We're a team on the rise and could've used that money to help other areas that could make our team stronger.

I expect Hardy to play very hard for his next contract.  That will work out well for the Panthers.  Long term, he is a risk.  Short term, DG may end up looking pretty smart.

Big Cat didn't sit on his hands to see if Goodell would punish 89. Most teams would have with there best player in franchise history still in their prime...

Under the Goodell era....Might as well dictate your own punishments rather than let someone else do whatever they want....

Richardson hasn't acted yet and i doubt he acts until the Jury trial has a verdict. Most owners do it to save their "faces" or "franchies" its not from bottom of their heart lol.

I would wager we here something by Fri.

JR likely was giving Hardy the benefit of having a court date before the season started (so he wouldn't be in a position of suspending someone who could be found not guilty). That would have been dumb. So not acting yet made sense.
