Hardy found guilty

Hardy is definitely guilty of poor judgement I can say that for sure. However by what little information that was tweeted out this case should have been rightfully tossed and both sent to rehab. She claimed to have been choked and thrown about. Sorry but the pictures don't support the fact. That girl would have been destroyed. The bruises do support her being restrained much like what you hear in the 911 call. On top of that she was running away from police, her friend wasn't in the room like she claimed on the recording or in the report. She admits to doing coke (though I think Hardy does as well seeing how much he sniffs in interviews) which can cause very irrational behavior as well as a high tolerance to pain. I however am very upset over this not because he is a player on my football team. This chick is certifiable. There are a few holes I can poke on hardy during his testimony but even more so for that hooch. Lets be honest about what it is he wanted to fuq and keep booty on tap she wanted him for either a relationship or money to maintain her lifestyle. Everyone is right in that he will learn a lesson and its a hard on to learn. The judge ruled based on the fact that she revealed some private info given not on everything stated. Sadly some judges do that and those are the ones that need to be removed from the bench.  I think she was trying to make a name for herself more than judging the trial. What worse and no one considered this is the fact that having to move to jury trial means that hooch has time to practice her story.

Regardless of what happened he's guilty of keeping bad company around him and putting himself in bad situations.  Just the fact that he had to go to court for this is enough to be guilty of, let alone actually found guilty by a judge.  He's right to appeal and take it to a jury, but the guy needs a wake up call and I hope this is it.  Wondering how long his suspension will be...

How can anything outside of an outright release by the Panthers be acceptable?

We are a class organization, or so we claim.

I find it particularly disturbing female Huddlers anticipate Hardy's future with the Panthers acceptable, even look forward to his production on the field.

You need to educate yourself on this issue. I don't blame you I blame the media for leading all the stories with "Hardy Found Guilty" when in actuality it's more "Judge wants to pass the case to a higher court"

Yall act like Hardy dragged Holder unconscious out of an elevator.

What we know as fact: - Holder was on cocaine and had been drinking all night

-Holder ran away from the first police officer she saw

- Holder called Hardy 16 times the following morning

No one except for the three people in that room knows exactly what happened that night. I think all three of them are lying to an extent, but I don't think Hardy is some woman beater that people are making him out to be. And fwiw I was on Holder's side when this incident first broke.

No that makes him guilty based on a single judge's verdict. That doesn't mean he actually committed the act, thus being guilty of what he was convicted.

I don't really care about her sketchy past, only her actions on the night of the offense. And domestic violence in the NFL should not factor in this case either. Based on what was presented, I can not agree that Greg Hardy is guilty of assaulting this woman.

And if you don't think she should have more than a few bruises on the chest and arms after being beaten by Greg Hardy, then not sure what else to say. No swelling, no scars. Even if he just slapped her, her face would be swollen for days - at least.

You are imploring the ole.....no one knows if you are guilty or not defense regardless what a judge OR jury says. Unless someone literally saw it. In America guilt or innocence is determined in our courts.

And like I said, lots of women have been involved in domestic disputes with NFL players.....they don't walk away looking disfigured. So again, that arguement doesn't mean much.

If I was a betting man, which I am not.....I would gamble the incident in question was a classic case of TWO people being wrong. Both likely that night put hands on each other.

Someone said bench trial was only guilty to pass the case up to a jury trail and a higher court. Kinda a litmus test to see if the case is valid enough to move up to a higher court. Guilty in court is a lot more subjective than your aware.

I sat on the grand jury for a year in 2012 in my county of residence.  I may not be an attorney but i think i could tell you a thing or two about the court and what goes on.

Maybe it is because real women have met women who's soul purpose in life is to do things like this?  Think about it, all that chatting in the bathroom and over the phone.  It doesn't take most women long to figure out the people they are around.  I'm sure they've met women who only want a rich husband to cater to material needs or get close enough to put themselves in a well grounded financial position.

There's many reasons women fall all over the feminism scale.

ok but some of you are naive enough to believe guilty is guilty in a court system which is beyond true, i understand some want to speculate but there's a possibility that Greg isn't guilty......let it play out is all im saying

as far as hitting women everyone makes mistakes, you might weight that differently then others but np i can understand where your coming from

first of all I likely more familiar with the court system than you are so if anyone is naive it is you not me. Unless you are a lawyer or a criminal......

It is much more likely that you will be found innocent when you are guilty than the other way around.  Hardy surely could afford a good lawyer so if he didn't get off that was his fault for not hiring a better lawyer.  Hardy is smart to appeal given he really has little to lose unless the jury is less sympathetic.  Normally though regular jurors will be more likely to be swayed by his celebrity status like people like you are on this message board.

So how many woman have you hit?? If none then why be sympathetic to a guy who is his size beating up a woman half his size?  If you have, then I know what you feel the way you do.

As for why I have a problem with men beating women, I am a psychologist and see domestic violence every day.  It isn't only the beating that is the problem but often the scars that effect her for years to come.
