Ian Rappaport:J.Graham appeals decision

The reality is that unless you get the number 1 seed, you have to win on the road to win the Superbowl. Especially if it isn't being played in the Superdome. You team is built to play at home on artificial turf. Problem is that doesn't help much playing on the road against many other teams in the conference.

They Saints were less than a minute away from being 5-3 on the road last season (they lost in the last minute to Carolina and New England). The road woes of the Saints were overblown by the media much like the receiving woes of the Panthers this offseason. The media gets stuck on something and won't let it go. The Pats were 3-5 away from Gillette as well, but you never heard about that.

In the playoffs they went on the road and beat Philly, who no one have them a shot to beat and had chance to tie with Seattle late in the game. Seattle deserved the W, but to act like the Saints just rolled over because they were on the road simply wasn't true.

The Saints should've given him what he deserved rather than nikel and dime him his entire career. When Gronk got his contract I surely thought the Saints would follow, but that was two years ago, then they try to get another bargain year by paying him $3 million under what he should get. Believe me, I dislike Graham as much as the next guy, but he has a point when you look at his production vs. Gronk and the fact the Saints paid him chump change as Brees main weapon. No way I go back to the Saints in 2015 unless they franchise him again.

that kind of hints at being a bad road team...
