Why Nate Chandler is the LT of the future

The more I think about it. We have to sign a vet. I just don't see us going into the season with Bell as the only other tackle on the roster with experience. (assuming Chandler and Williams win LT and RT positions)

Pure denial. As bad as Bell, Williams was worse. I feel better with Bell on the right side more than I would if Doug Free was there. He has his bad moments, but he shows the rare flash as well.

Y'all still realize this is a long shot right? I mean we're basically taking a 3 from half court on this one. Of course, nobody was supposed to be able to come back from 3 ACL tears either, so I'm not saying it's impossible, but unlikely.

I'm hopeful to Chandler wins the LT job and then actually holds it down. Then we can draft a competent right tackle next year and Bell is on the sideline where he belongs.

Big DG fan.  He is a no-nonsense genius. 

 

Confidence in Chandler (based on an eye for talent) allowed him to grab a huge WR in the draft and then a DE and not a T in the second round.  We all are seeing now why that was brilliant.  Then Turner in the third.   Think about the way he navigated free agency and the draft---
