Hornets sign Brian Roberts

Biyombo? And Al Jefferson's 13.5 million dollar hit on the cap is already close too enough to give him another deal.

We may keep Biyombo, who know's... He's already making $4 mil so just add on $1 mil and give him $5 (+$1)

Also I'd be presently surprised if Al did not opt out next year if he has another All-NBA season. If he is All-NBA again, he could command $18 per (+$4.5)

With the way the market has unfolded this year, I'd be surprised if Kemba doesn't get $8.5 (+$5)

There goes $11 mil.

Overreaction when Lance has not signed and we still have the money to make a reasonable offer if we want, however, is not.

LIKE I SAID, "reasonable," as in, "we got outbid, but we tried."

Well, you didn't try hard enough, because you could've had more money to make a stronger bid if you didn't sign Marvin Williams and Brian Roberts first.

It's obvious, Cho, that you knew what you were doing...if you do make a "reasonable" offer and it falls short of someone else's. It wasn't made in good faith. You wanted it to fail.

Sometimes, I feel like Cho is the problem here.

A name changed doesn't help when the same people are still running the show.

His draft decisions hasn't been good and Hairstons proves just that again. The only reason why fans are not giving him much crap is bc of Jefferson.

Yep, I'm still tripping off of Biz as well.

He drafted a SG in the first round and you say it hasn't been addressed. Your Lance mancrush is making everyone uncomfortable.

They drafted PJ Hairston to come off the bench. Gerald Henderson is currently your starting SG heading into the season, and he shouldn't be.

Lance Stephenson is better than both right now.

You can call it a "crush" all you want. It's reality.

Henderson starting at SG is less damaging than having a rookie and/or Zeller starting at PF.

That's reality

And you still could've gotten Marvin Williams for less than $7M per season. Who else wanted him, and what were they offering?

And your #1 need was wing scoring, so you're wrong.

Kemba will ask for more and he'll get it, but it won't be here. IMO, and I really like Kemba, but that's what I think will happen.

No way Biz should or will get that money. He's a putrid offensive player and is a good defender but we weren't even confident enough in him to give him minutes during the playoffs until Jefferson was REALLY hurting.

I think Al is going to get around 15 or 16 million a year if he opts out but if he commands more Henderson's contract will be more movable next year and Neal's 3 million expiring could easily take care of the rest.

You don't know, I don't know, but Cho does. So seriously...stop acting like it's such a horrible deal when you have no idea who was going after him AND when it addresses our biggest position of need.

Stretch 4 need was > than another SG need. Period.

Like. I. Said. Who else wanted him? Where was this high demand for Marvin Williams than he needed $7M a year?

It doesn't exist, and even if it did, it's still too much. Where is he so great at that the stretch 4 had to be him?

I don't need to know anything to know that.
