Seth Curry put on a show.

He had a fantastic night shooting and led the Suns with 13 fourth quarter points to help Phoenix come from behind to beat Milwaukee.

Final Stats

Curry: 26 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 rebound in 21 minutes of play

Side notes: Curry shot 7-9 (77%) from the field, 5-7 (71%) from three, and 7-7 (100%) from the free throw line.

I had a REALLY long day and fell asleep during the game at about halftime. I'm gonna watch the game again though, as I have it recorded... I know PJ started hitting bc I kept trying to get up to watch but, I just couldn't. Vonleh looked A LOT better from what I saw early on. He flashed a couple of post moves and even busted out a behind the back dribble while bringing the ball up the court before passing it to a guard. I also wanted Walt Frazier to shut up about Vonleh's shot. Wtf was he talking about? Larry Bird and Reggie Miller had two of thd ugliest shot forms ever and I'd say they turned out pretty good, lol.

And as I said before, I'm not worried about PJ. He's going to be the steal of this draft. BUT, I will say this, I was getting seriously frustrTed with the officisting and it felt like the ref kind of had it out for PJ there early on, but he can't protest every single call and this is summer league... that attitude he's showing will haunt him if he keeps it up. A few times I understood his frustration, but part of it was that he set the precedent early with being demonstrative and so the refs kept watching him with an extra discerning eye. He's gotta cut that out and just play. Other than that, he did great.

And about McD... I still don't trust it. He had a great night, but so did Seth Curry who is a fring NBA player. Let's see if he can do that against professional starters.

The difference is McDermott did the same thing in college.

He practiced with the USA Men's Team a while back and all those guys were saying he was killing it and will be a very good pro.

He's gonna be good. But I think Vonleh is gonna be very good also so it's not a big deal.

I think it is hilarious that so many people make knee jerk reactions based upon summer league. Last year, Dwight Byucks averaged 23 pts, 7 ast, and 5 regs a game. Reggie Bullock and Austin Rivers both averaged 18 pts/game. Meanwhile, Michael Carter Williams averaged 13 pts on 27% field goal shooting.

Not saying that it means nothing but I think some people go WAY overboard on this...

If McDermott's game means nothing because it wasn't against pros then the same can be said for PJ.

Regardless I think that's bullshit. It's not like he chooses who he plays in SL. The best he can do is goofy light it up, which he did. I wish we drafted him.

PJ will have some very good games for us, and some very frustrating games.  Ive always liked him to JR Smith.  Not the exact type of player as JR, but a streaky one.

No doubt though, if PJ stays out of trouble, he will be a starter for us in a few years.

Watching this game again i find it funny that Dyson is named after a vacuum cleaner know for how much it sucks.

He is definition of a guy that has zero "feel" for the game. Zero instincts.

Amazing if you pull up last years summer league threads and guys were defending that he was a good player.
