LVSL: Charlotte Hornets (0-1) vs. Sacramento Kings (0-1)

Recommended Posts

Tip Off: 6:00 P.M. on NBA TV

The Hornets are back at it today in hopes of avenging an opening loss against the Warriors a few days ago.

The Hornets came out slow and sluggish against Golden State, but Vonleh and Hairston have vowed that they will be better.

Today, Hairston's Hornets face of against Stauskas's Kings in a battle between two premier shooters.

This game should be a good gauge of P.J.'s overall skill.

Charlotte Hornets Rosters

PG: Mickey McConnell, Jerome Dyson

SG: P.J. Hairston, Rion Brown, Roberto Nelson

SF: Justin Brownlee, Justin Jackson

PF: Noah Vonleh, Josh Davis, DeMon Brooks, Jamie Skeen

C: Jordan Bachysnki, Jared Shaw

Inactive: Cody Zeller

Sacramento Kings Roster

MarShon Brooks, Ray McCallum, Quincy Acy, Jared Cunningham, Nik Stauskas, Derrick Williams, Ben McLemore, Jake Odum, Ra'Shad James, Nick Wiggins, Brendan Lane, Eric Moreland, Josh Owens, Dwayne Jones, and Sim Bhullar.

Realistically, this Kings summer league team shouldn't lose as it's filled with talent but they already lost to the Spurs; so we'll see what happens.

GO HORNETS!!!

I don't have NBA tv. I thought about buying the summer league streaming app to watch, but I couldn't get the free trial to work on Friday. Did anybody else have this issue?

My first question will sound stupid. Did you create an account? Obviously you have to create an account to activate the free trial.

My second question is, did you get the video to play? In order to play the video, you drag your desired game to the black "tv screen". If yes, was there a lag?

If you did all this and still couldn't get the video to play, PM me. I might be able to help you out.

    • The issue is the formula is secret, and it incorporates runs... So... Yup, it does. Same with PFF (which isn't quite as secret). But when it doesn't - like on Sunday - it's often to hilarious results. PFF is more reliable I think at matching my 'eye' test.
    • According to the talking heads of the sports world, this is a pretty meh QB class.  Sanders and Ward are the only two with first round buzz, but the rest are blah.  Take that for what you will. Let's see how Bryce does in year three.  That's just where we are.  Patience is the key here.  Players need time to develop.  They can't develop if they don't play.  Bryce has made some really good throws, but he doesn't look like CJ Stroud.  That's going to be his point of comparison the rest of their careers.  The ball doesn't explode off Bryce's hand, it's not a cannon ball shot out of a cannon.  He's not going to break a 70 yard run.   Bryce is going to have to continue to make good throws and make plays.  Part of that is going to depend on the play calls.  Part of it is based on the skill players.  A couple drops picked up yesterday and it's a win and Bryce throws 1-2 more TDs.  A completely different story. It's been a crazy year indeed.  I just want to see Bryce continue to develop.  To see XL become more consistent.  To see JT fully recover (not play this season if he's not healthy).  I want to see Coker continue to make plays.  I'd love to see Brooks get more touches and Chubba continue to hammer defenses. Then this approaching offseason, let's go back to the D and work on fixing it.
    • Prime is already gone boss.  Nothing left for team Sanders in college football.
