UT is lucky there is a 3 year post high school rule. The measurables and bloodlines would make him, JMO, by the look of things, a capable and productive NFL starter right now. Scott Kennedy of the insiders website said he would be the #1 overall player in the next rankings.

Butch is such an insanely good recruiter. I think he could bring UT back if they keep recruiting like this.

Lol what a load of crap. He was heavily recruited and was UT's number one target. Someone's butthurt.

The fact that his dad even said that shows that he knew his son really liked Arizona, and most people around the recruitment felt Arizona was his favorite, but there was family pressure.

 

Even if it was his decision, there is still that pressure even if they are saying to him that it's his decision.

I simply don't know if I've ever seen a better prospect, much less a 17 year old.

Helluva prospect and hopefully he turns out to be the real deal and fulfills that promise.

 

But before we go enshrining him in Canton already, we'd be wise to remember that one time some years ago a young hotshot QB out of southern California was the consensus #1 recruit in the country and destined to be the next Joe Montana when he committed to Notre Dame.  That young hotshot QB's name was Jimmy Clausen.
