Literally the only thing McBob does better is pass the ball. Marvin is better at every other aspect of the game. He was more productive with less playing time & a lesser role. I won't even bother posting their career stats. Marvin has been a productive, solid player his entire career, McBob has not.

If we sign Stephenson we won't need a point forward anymore. Marvin is a better player who took a smaller length deal than McRoberts, & is also more versatile & can play the 3, which allows Zeller/Vonleh more playing time.

Just another thought on the sign and trade. Indiana is not going to help us land one of their guys if we can't even afford them.

The sign and trade is used when a player is ready to leave and then the team that owns their rights decides they want something for him.

This is true. Bonnell did say we were only interested in McBob and a back up PG and wouldn't be major players in FA.

and i never bought the rumors of our interest in stephenson..he's a head case and i just never saw him fitting on this team..i think we sign hinrich or augustin and call it an offseason
