Hornets Sign Marvin Williams

Recommended Posts

Meh. I don't know about this guy, but sure. His timeline didn't look outrageously throwing too much poo against the wall (at least no more than anyone else).

He has only been doing this since February and only has about 300 followers

Point being, I don't know anything about this guy, he is new, but his timeline didn't seem to show he was just trolling

NBA infos @nbainfos Follow

The Charlotte #Hornets have called Lance Stephenson's agent for a deal source tell #NBAFreeAgency

I try not to post poo unless it is pretty reputable. That is why I only posted the Sporting News story and the one form the newspaper in Syracuse and not this one

I hope it's true!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait any longer before I start going on a rampage.

Kurb, Prouddiddy, Rayzor, etc better be ready to ban me if we don't get Lance or Deng.

If we use up all our cap space this year, we'll be in the tax next year when we try to re-sign Jefferson and Walker.

This might just be me, but I don't think that is the way this franchise operates.

If we get Lance, Jefferson should stay.

We don't have to give Kemba a huge deal. Sometimes, being a "franchise" is letting guys like a Kemba Walker who is slightly above average walk (S&T). That's why you have the draft. We should not be a lottery team, but I'm optimistic that we could get a PG next year in the draft: my boy Tyus Jones. ;)

I think Jefferson and Kemba would both stay as well but they would also both want a pay raise.

I don't think Kemba would sign for anything less than $8.5 mil and Jefferson could potentially fetch $18 mil if he has another All-NBA season.

Also if we let Kemba walk and sign Lance, we'd still be too close to the cap to replace him with a quality player.

If you want Kemba gone, the best thing to do is stand pat this year and renounce Kemba's, Biyombo's, and Neal's rights then offer a max to Goran Dragic.

I also don't think starting a rookie point guard is a good idea. Off the top of my head, I don't even know the last time a rookie point guard led a team to the playoffs.

We will have to make some tough choices. Maybe let Walker go. Maybe don't use option on Zeller with Vonleh on roster. Might trade MKG. Etc.

We'll be alright

We will have decisions to make, but overreaction and spur of the moment decisions will only make your team and cap worse.

Look at the cap hell that Brooklyn is in.

I would rather get Stephenson and make tough decisions after this season. He could be a unique talent and only 23

I don't think the FO is sold on Kemba right now. Unless, he lights it up this upcoming season I just don't see Cho giving Kemba that $8.5-10 for a similar season to last year.

Dragic should be on the top of our list next year. We just need to find a way to rid us of Hendo. Like Teeray said, MKG could be move to create space. Hopefully he improves and we don't have to.

I could live with Dragic, Lance, and Jefferson. That's a nice big 3! And, if Zeller, Vonleh, and Hairstons live up to their abilities then we'll have a very good team.

Sorry but his skill set is what commands 4-5.

Face up jump shooter..basically an Anthony Tolliver. It seems like a panic move now.

The micalculation on the lowball offer to McBob, whos passing skillset is what seperates him quite a bit from Williams will be missed.

McBob was also a poor defender. Charlotte won't miss him getting abused defensively & on the boards.

Marvin can play defense, he turns the ball over less, is a better scorer, & a better rebounder. He's better at literally every aspect of the game but passing.

And for all the talk about how great of a passer McBob is...

Career Assist Averages:

McBob- 2.1

Marvin- 1.4

We just upgraded the PF position for $9mil less than what McBob was paid. Marvin is only here for 2 years while Zeller/Vonleh develop, McBob wanted too many years.

& y'all are acting like the world is ending.
