This. I don't have a problem with Henderson but when you have the opportunity to snag Lance Stephenson and have him start instead it shouldn't be a very hard choice.

I admire everyone's optimism, but thinking that we can fit Stephenson under the cap and sign a quality backup point guard is not rational.

What about a sign and trade with the Bulls? We get Hinrich, they get Hendo

Would allow Bulls to play Butler at SF instead of SG

Hornets get backup PG and have room for Lance

It is not the fact we signed Williams, it's the fact we gave him so much money on a multi year contract that we won't be able to sign anyone who'll actually make us a better team next year. Best case scenario with Marvin Williams is he matches McRoberts production.
