Ariza Signs With Rockets

Recommended Posts

Houston might do something really stupid.

I'd love to see Parsons try to matchup with Griffin, Aldridge, Love, Duncan, etc...

He doesn't have the body to be a stretch four in the west.

sorry buddy - i typed almost the same post as you a little earlier.

daryl morey does do some really radical things, so i suppose signing both isn't out of the question. he loves to collect assets so maybe he's thinking he doesnt want to lose parsons for free, so tie him up now and flip him for a more suitable piece when he's eligible to be traded? i guess both parsons and ariza will be coveted players next year, so im sure some team would give up quite a bit to get one

Dallas put a trade kicker in Parsons contract though. So they would at least have to keep Parsons and Ariza together for a year.

I'm not sure if that's worth it.

they could still trade ariza though. i assume he hasn't got the same clause in his contract? although if i were in Houstons shoes, id probably prefer ariza with his more reasonable contract than parsons (i think $15m is too much for him)

I guess they could trade Ariza, but why sign him in the first place if you are just going to trade him? You aren't going to be able to relieve any cap space by trading him.
