Bosh Returning To Miami

Recommended Posts

Just post this here, when Miami's offense ran through him (James not playing) he average 24 PPg and shot 45% from 3.

Problem is he now has to do that for 82 games a season for the Heat to even have a chance at the conference finals, and Spo marginalized his offensive game to simply sitting in the corner for 3s.

Any signing for them at this point is simply a band aid to avoid going into the tank. They could not address their needs with true upgrades at point and center and now they just lost LeBron and are stuck settling for mid tier guys barring a last second hail Mary with Melo.

Add in the Dwayne Wade Maintenance Program and if they decide to use all the cap space overpaying for mid tier talent and Bosh and Wade don't rediscover their primes, the Heat are dangerously close to the Joe Johnson-Josh Smith Hawks treadmill.

Bosh has put up good numbers as the 3rd option. In my opinion at least. The heat have room to sign some good players or they can wait till next years FA and get different FAs. I look for Pat Riley to keep the Heat a contender for a while, maybe not a championship level team but playoff bound.

If I was Riley, I'd rebuild from scratch. I just don't see how Dwayne and Bosh are going to do anything for that team, because they pretty much waited for Lebron to bail them out the whole they were there. The Heat are just throwing money around, so show the fans they are trying. In the end, it will destroy their cap and leave them with scrambling to fix a major problem down the road.
