Bosh Returning To Miami

Recommended Posts

If they lost Bosh it would be one of the most epic collapses in NBA history. I agree that Riley is probably sweating to death. I like Riley, but he seems to always have the fortune of having good players land in his lap....like Phil Jackson.

They need to have a case to make a run at melo. It isn't as bad of a deal as you think

I can buy that this is their thinking. But I can't see Melo going to Miami to be the guy to replace THE guy. Just seems like a no-win situation for him. Who wants to be compared to LBJ?

Surprised to see Bosh re-sign with Miami, thought he'd end up with Houston. But this gives Miami a chance to retool. Wade should be next to sign. After that they've got to try and make a run at either another max level player, or add two 10-12 million type players. Then try to bring back some of their FAs.

Eg.

- Chalmers / Wade / Melo / Haslem / Bosh

- Chalmers / Wade / Deng / Bosh / Gasol

A bigger role could help Bosh take a lead on offense, but the ideal scenario for them would be to get Melo. Though an addition of Deng and Gasol would give them two good supporting players to form a decent starting five.

If true, Bosh is dumb.

Houston roster would be a favorite with him, Miami well not so much

True, but he's set to earn a lot more in Miami. He's got two rings, and this is the perfect opportunity to try to lead a team to a championship with him as the go to guy. In Houston he's the number three guy again, whereas in Miami he's the number two or one.

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
