LVSL: Charlotte Hornets (0-0) vs. Golden State Warriors (0-0)

Was Davis the guy that grabbed that ball from going out of bounds mid-air in the first half and in a Jordan-esque pose tossed it back in to a teammate to start a break?

If that was him (hard to see his name on the computer at work), then I was VERY impressed with his motor and athleticism.

It was.

Keep in mind Vonleh should be just finishing up his senior year of high school. He reclassified as a senior to go to college a year early

He has a really good skill set to be really good, but it is going to take a while

Neither Vonleh nor Hairston looked good, but it's their first game so I'm going to give them both a pass this time. If they look this bad on Sunday I will be slightly concerned. McConnell and Davis looked very good out there, if they keep it up they will definitely earn a spot in training camp at least.

Also, the fact that PJ gets "his shot isn't falling" and Vonleh gets "wow he sux" really disappoints me. Vonleh played pretty well defensively, and showed me a lot of nice post moves, his shot just didn't go down. PJ's shot wasn't falling either, and he definitely needs some improvement on the defensive end. I'll give him that his confidence in his jumper never faltered, which is a good thing.

Lastly, Ewing did not impress me so much in his coaching debut. I'm glad he is only an assistant, he is not ready for a head coaching gig just yet.
