LEBRON TO CLEVELAND! (OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED)

If you read the essay, it is really well done. I've always been a Bron fan, and thd decision and subsequent Miami years were tough to stomach. This just feels right. And for all of the crap he has gotten for supposedly being "arrogant," this is a classy, humble homecoming.

I think he took the easy way out like he did when he went to the Heat. It was well written but he saw the writing on the wall with Heat. Clev has better young talent and Miami has none, lol. I still don't think Clev will win any championships. Go Hornets Dammit!

I have to admit I have respect for him for the first time in years.

I don't, lol. I smell fraud all over this just like Kobe. Something about him, don't hate him but something just ain't right, lol.

Idiot, cleveland is a poo hole. Shouldve come to Charlotte lebron

I spent a day in Cleveland on my way back from Chicago, and I can honestly say... it is the most boring city on the planet. It is basically 3 buildings, none of which photography worthy skyscrapers and an alleyway (the highlight of downtown) filled with like 3 or 4 really cool bars but overall just a really boring and lame city.

Then again, there's no place like home.

James' essay is touching.  I highly recommend you read it regardless of what you think about basketball or Lebron.  If you care about sports, read it.

My favorite part may be this:

But this is not about the roster or the organization. I feel my calling here goes above basketball. I have a responsibility to lead, in more ways than one, and I take that very seriously. My presence can make a difference in Miami, but I think it can mean more where I’m from. I want kids in Northeast Ohio, like the hundreds of Akron third-graders I sponsor through my foundation, to realize that there’s no better place to grow up. Maybe some of them will come home after college and start a family or open a business. That would make me smile. Our community, which has struggled so much, needs all the talent it can get.

I don't know what to say, other than good luck, Lebron.  I hope all the best for you.

I didn't say I'm a fan. I just respect how he handled the letter and wanting to go back home to build something. I still think he's a crybaby bitch when it comes to the court and would love nothing more then to knock him out every time we play against him.

Comparing Lebron's personality to Kobe's is laughable. Kobe has always been and always will be an asshole.

I respect his game, but he's a douche whose complete life and careerhas been consumed by trying to mimic Jordan. Lebron never claimed to be, never tried to be... he's been himself the entire time. When he went to Miami, everyone said, "MJ would never do that." You're right... and now he went back home. He's done it his way.

This is a victory for every fan of a small market team that had to put up with four years of "small markets can't attract stars, small markets can't keep their stars, small markets can't win in this league."

Now if Vince will just make amends with Toronto...
