PJ's Agent not certified

Where there is smoke there is usually a fire... Personally, I wouldn't be hanging out with a convicted felon who has multiple drug charges if I didn't share anything in common with him.

Once again you use the conviction method, which is cute because I see it all the time. A conviction means you got caught and you most likely pleaded guilty. If there are three guys in a car and one bag of drugs, everyone is getting charged. The charges probably won't hold up because no one talked, but that doesn't take away from the fact that there was still some illegal activity going on there.

Could it be that you are trying to justify what you're doing through Hairston? If you are associated with people who do illegal things, there is a good chance you will go down with them when they get caught.

Key word, usually. PJ could be an exception, and as of now has been.

You just contradicted yourself. You said the charges prob wont hold up then turn around and say you will prob go down with them.

Which is it?

PJ can do what he wants so long as it doesnt affect him on gameday ie performance and suspensions.

Just getting in trouble with the law (charges or no charges) is cause for concern because it puts you in a position where you could potentially be arrested for something illegal.

Like I said before, I'm the type of person that would get help before I got suspended from the NBA.

You're the type of guy who would get help after he got suspended from the NBA.

There lies the problem and where you are undoubtably in the wrong.

You misread my post.... If no one speaks you are fine.

However, if you start talking (denying or accepting), you are going down with association.

However, some people can stay clean. I will not crucify the boy until he gives me reason to.

Help, well that depends on how PJ's outlook is. If he is like me and understands what my friends do is wrong and dont have an urge to partake than he prob doesnt need help.

If PJ thinks what his friends do is fine and partakes than yes he needs help now. Regardless if he hasnt been caught yet.

This says all I need to know.

You would rather associate yourself with people who do criminal things and hope that you don't get dragged down with them instead of growing up and acting like an adult.

That may be cool for you but that's not cool for teams that are investing millions of dollars in a player.

By the way, no one is crucifying the kid... Everyone is just saying that it's time to grow up and make new friends.

You are supporting P.J. because you have a lot in common with him, the difference is that an NBA team isn't paying you a million dollars and potentially wasting money on you.

This is where you are confused.

I do not have to hope anything. I do not commit a crime I have nothing to worry about.

You know you're a try hard when you try to insult people having a conversation.

I am being perfectly honest and to the point. You do not commit a crime you do not have to worry.

Well people have been wrongfully convicted so there is that possibility.

Either way, I am not crucifying PJ until given reason.

If you're there when someone is arrested for doing something illegal, you are going down as well. You might not get convicted, but you will be charged. Charges are still taken very seriously by professional teams and eventually you will be released because you are proving that you can't stay out of trouble.

I had a friend that was hanging out (smoking weed) with another friend in a high school bathroom and everyone knew that those two guys were close. Well one of the guys said that he wasn't smoking. Long story short, both faced charges and both were expelled. A lot more recently I found out that a kid I used to hang out with got charged because he was hanging out with another kid who was selling.

Association can get you my friend. I know you don't think it can, but I think you might be trying to justifying hanging out with people that do illegal things.

What "charges" have come on PJ?

Association can get you. It can also not get you.

PJ needs to tighten up some things sure, but damn reading this forum and others you would think this dude has been charged and convicted of numerous crimes.

- That question has been answered multiple times. If you still need an answer, you can look it up.

- There it is again... "association may or may not get you". Well bud, when a team is investing millions of dollars in you it is best to remove yourself from any bad situation that could possibly be an inhibitor to your career. Try to look at it from P.J.'s perspective not someone's perspective who may or may not have a lot to lose if they get caught.

- If P.J. ever gets caught his career will begin a downward spiral that may be hard to fix. That is why you get help before you get caught.
