PJ's Agent not certified

We're speaking two different thing. I'm speaking from PJ perspective and situation. Drugs was found but to my knowledge, no one has been convicted. In your post, your key words are "On their person". The next question should be, " What is considered "On their Person". If a number of people are in a car or building and illegal items are found laying around which no one claims possession, who do you convict. Remember, I didn't say "Who do you charge!!! This situation screams "Reasonable doubt".

On their persons means exactly that. In their hands, pockets, or body.

As to your question, the cops are most likely gonna charge everyone if no one confesses. Now, you gets convicted is a whole other ball game.

That is incorrect. If the drugs are found on an individual THEY are in possession. Not everyone in the car.

Now if the drugs are found inside the vehicle not on a person and everyone denies it is theirs then all could be charged for possession. Then that would have to go to trail and a jury / judge would decide.

Does driving without a license get NBA players suspended? If not I could give a poo.

All signs points to him not starting the fight as their were many eye witnesses and thus would have been arrested on the spot. And really, getting into a fight in a pickup game. Who gives a poo.

He easily deserves the benefit of doubt as he has yet to ever been convicted of a crime or suspendable offense.

If they are in possession and are in your car, you can still be charged (which they were).

Driving with a license is a simple rule... why not follow it?

He's been suspended, arrested, charged, and continually associates himself with a known felon... He does not deserve the benefit of the doubt and you have no idea what you 're talking about.

You're argument is based on P.J. not getting caught. My argument is based on P.J. before he gets caught. I guess we can see here who really cares about the well being of others.

People can be charged with anything. I could go to the PD and say you did x and you would have charges brought up against you. Even if you do not even know me.

We are talking about generalities.

I can not be bothered with getting my wallet every time i need to make a quick drive to a friends house or to some near by store.

In America you are innocent until proven guilty.

Mr smart guy lol

The generality is that drugs were found in the car... yes the charges may have been dropped (for whatever reason) but if he's in the NBA and he has a drug test the next day he could be screwed.

However you're acting like there is no problem because he hasn't been caught.

That's the problem with America. We do the wrong thing until we actually see the consequences.

Oh and if it's too hard to grab your wallet before you go to the score (where you will need money, your wallet carries cards/cash), you might be one of the laziest people in the world.

I really hope he gets it together and the light bulb goes off. It is good that he hasn't been charged with anything but he needs to stop putting himself in these situations. You are a professional now and some people you have to let go. You can't take everyone with you. I just hope that he will take advantage of being in the NBA, a dream that few ever reach. I am not going to judge the kid because he may have not done anything knowningly wrong but he has to take himself out of these environments. I read on news-record.com which is Greensboro's local paper/website and there was a quote saying how he met J. Gordon who asked to switch cars with him for the night. That is just too weird for me. Especially if this is the first time you ever met him. Anyway, I wish him the best and success. I just hope he doesn't blow his chances. I am a Duke fan ( I know I know) but I am rooting for this kid.

Where do you get the idea PJ does drugs? Having friends or being around people that do drugs doesnt mean you do them. I know first hand.

There is def an issue with PJ associating with people he prob shouldnt. However, like I said, you can associate with the the wrong people and still stay clean. He is how old and not one DUI, drug, or assault conviction to his name.

Like I said, I will give him the benefit of doubt until he gives me reason not to.

I keep spare money in my car, hence no need for a wallet for small runs. Def do not need wallet to go to my friends house down the road.

Where there is smoke there is usually a fire... Personally, I wouldn't be hanging out with a convicted felon who has multiple drug charges if I didn't share anything in common with him.

Once again you use the conviction method, which is cute because I see it all the time. A conviction means you got caught and you most likely pleaded guilty. If there are three guys in a car and one bag of drugs, everyone is getting charged. The charges probably won't hold up because no one talked, but that doesn't take away from the fact that there was still some illegal activity going on there.

Could it be that you are trying to justify what you're doing through Hairston? If you are associated with people who do illegal things, there is a good chance you will go down with them when they get caught.
